See Sweden's best young horses make their first appearances in an international arena
Gothenburg Horse Show continues to focus on young horse classes in both showjumping and dressage.
Gothenburg Horse Show and SWB have had a close partnership for many years, built on a shared belief that a strong Swedish equestrian sport depends on a strong Swedish breeding programme. To support the development of the sport horses of tomorrow, SWB Trophy presented by Hyperion was introduced to the competition programme, with the aim of giving more young talents the opportunity to compete at one of the sport’s most prestigious arenas – Scandinavium.
Through the Breeders Trophy and Stallion Trophy, the top-performing horses get the chance to qualify for Scandinavium, where they can showcase their quality in front of spectators, breeders and industry professionals. For horses competing in the five-year-old show jumping class or the five- and six-year-old dressage classes at SWB Equestrian Weeks, SWB Trophy presented by Hyperion is a highly sought-after next step. At Scandinavium, they compete at the same level at which they qualified, allowing them to perform under familiar conditions while gaining valuable experience in an international competition environment.
SWB Trophy presented by Hyperion is therefore more than just a competition. It is a stepping stone for the sport horses of tomorrow and a clear example of how Gothenburg Horse Show and SWB are working together to strengthen Swedish horse breeding and equestrian sport for the future.
