Lövsta Future Challenge

Lövsta Future Challenge Jumping U25 gives Sweden’s most promising U25 riders the opportunity to compete against some of the sport’s most experienced and accomplished riders. During the final in Scandinavium, the U25 riders can earn points in classes at 1.45 m and above, with the rider accumulating the most points receiving the Meeting Prize on Sunday. LFC riders can be recognized by their green armbands.

In front of a packed Scandinavium, we get to see the stars of the future put their skills to the test. Across three rounds, Sweden’s best 7-year-olds face international competition. The fantastic atmosphere in the arena gives the young horses valuable experience and helps prepare them for success on the world’s major show jumping stages. 

Swedish combinations qualify through the Young Star Masters and Breeders Trophy, with 11 Swedish-owned horses making it to the final. The 2026 winner was Bollerup Big Bang, ridden by Nicole Holmén.

The Lövsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour gives talented U25 dressage riders the unique opportunity to ride alongside some of the world’s best, gaining valuable experience and inspiration along the way. The tour was created through a unique collaboration between Lövsta Future Challenge and the FEI Dressage World Cup™ organizers Gothenburg Horse Show, Jumping Amsterdam, and World Cup Herning.

The winner of the Lövsta Future Challenge Dressage Tour 2026 was Sweden’s Cecilia Bergåkra & My Friend.

Lövsta Future Challenge is committed to supporting Swedish breeding and has therefore, together with Gothenburg Horse Show, invited the breeders of all Swedish-bred horses to watch the final from the best seats. Through this initiative, the aim is to motivate breeders to continue contributing to the future of Swedish show jumping.
