Hall of Fame 2023

Hall of Fame 2023

The Gothenburg Horse Show Hall of Fame honors personalities, equestrian icons, and four-legged heroes who have meant a lot to the event. Previously inducted individuals include, among others, World Cup winner Louise Nathhorst, the legend John Whitaker and his equally legendary horse Milton.

With a historic team gold from the World Championships in Herning and incredible individual achievements, the decision was easy to make. The riders who were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2023 were Malin Baryard Johnsson, Peder Fredricson, Henrik von Eckermann, and Jens Fredricson. On Saturday evening, a ceremony was held where they were celebrated in front of a full audience.

A definite place in the Hall of Fame was also given to Henrik von Eckermann's former competition partner Toveks Mary Lou and Peder Fredricson's championship horse H&M All In. The arena became quite emotional when these two legends were not only inducted into the Hall of Fame but also thanked during the competitions.

Once upon a time, "Allan," alias H&M All In, presented himself to the Swedish audience in Scandinavium by winning the Gothenburg Trophy in 2015. It marked the beginning of a successful career, which sooner came to a close where it once started. Toveks Mary Lou has also had great successes in Scandinavium.
