Saturday’s programme features something for all tastes, and you can expect the classic Scandinavium atmosphere to last all-day-long. Here you will find both the stars of tomorrow and today’s absolute elite, together with entertaining show elements.
The morning features exciting young-rider and young-horse classes, with the country’s most promising talents who have competed hard throughout the autumn and spring in order to make it to Scandinavium. The afternoon boasts top-class displays of dressage, when the penultimate round of the Western European League of the FEI DRESSAGE WORLD CUP™ will be decided. We can expect goose-bumps and a high WOW-factor as the riders guide their horses through their self-composed programmes, set to music, in this FEI World Cup Dressage™ Grand Prix Kür.
Saturday evening continues with exciting revelations and inductions to the Gothenburg Horse Show’s Hall of Fame, and concludes with a true audience favourite – the Gothenburg Trophy!

Lövsta Future Challenge Jumping Young Horses – Round 2
Ten of Sweden’s very best seven-year-old horses will meet ten international horses from the same age group. Take the opportunity to see a preview of which horses are in good shape to join the elite. Round 2 consists of two phases, where the fault-free competitors proceed straight to a jump-off.
Sverigeponnyn – Final
Sweden’s most popular jumping cup for C-ponies. Having qualified during the autumn and winter, the ten best teams have now made it all the way to the final at Scandinavium. Expect nervous anticipation, lots of cheering and a magical atmosphere when the next winner is crowned. The teams are judged in accordance with Judgement Table A: Impression.
On Saturday, when there is special focus on family entertainment, hobby horses will enter the arena for the first time. As part of the Agria Käpphästcup, the riders have competed in qualifying rounds all around the country in order to reach the grand final, which will be held during the Gothenburg Horse Show.
Show – Mounted Games and Agility
High-energy action and lots of excitement are promised as teams from countries such as Sweden, Wales and England face each other in this year’s edition of the Gothenburg Horse Show’s Mounted Games. In the subsequent Agility display, we will witness the unbelievable partnership that exists between dogs and their handlers in an action-packed show.

It’s finally time for our classic crowd-pleaser – the Gothenburg Trophy! Feel the tension and the drama until the final rider has competed, as here everyone is genuinely pushing for victory! The atmosphere in the arena is magical, and the appreciation of the spectators rises with every fault-free round. A prestigious class that has been won by some of the best riders in the world over the years. It begins with a first round, with the fault-free teams then competing in an exciting jump-off.
