Sustainability in Focus
Together with Lövsta Future Challenge, Gothenburg Horse Show awards a sustainability prize aimed at encouraging and highlighting good, sustainable initiatives within the equine industry and equestrian sports.
Ahead of the 2025 Gothenburg Horse Show, the Equine World’s Sustainability Prize will once again be awarded - a joint effort by Lövsta Future Challenge and Gothenburg Horse Show that highlights initiatives for sustainability within the horse industry and equestrian sports. With a prize sum of SEK 50,000, the organizers are now open for new applications.
The prize, which can be awarded to individuals, organizations, and non-profit projects, focuses on efforts that contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive equine industry. This can include initiatives that improve the environment, increase horse welfare, or promote physical and mental health within the equine world.
By sustainability, we mean actions that create better conditions for the planet and all living beings for a long time ahead, while also being economically viable. It is not only about the environment and climate but also about horse welfare and social sustainability within the equine industry.
